Rockwood G15TB is a very functional, well-equipped, compact travel trailer, ideal for off-grid and off-road adventures.
Available on the RV market for few years, the Rockwood Geo-Pro series already gained many enthusiasts. And it should not be a surprise, because eleven models of travel trailers ranging in length from 11’3” to 21’2” offer a variety of attractive floorplans to choose from. Given the fact that Geo-Pro 2021 versions are bringing some novelties, we decided to make the presentation of one of its most popular models – G15TB.

and its floor-plan
It’s not the smallest model in the Geo-Pro family - G12RK & G12SRK with lengths correspondingly 11’3’ and 12’3” are smaller, however, they offer just the protected sleeping space and a rear hatch space for an outside kitchen. The next in size model - G15TB (with the length of 15’10”) is the smallest walkable Geo-Pro travel trailer. The decent “living space” combining two twin beds, a portable dining table, an interior kitchen, and a wet bath makes it an attractive model for journeys into nature.
With a GVWR of just 2,483lbs - light enough to be towable by SUVs and some crossovers, well equipped to meet basic needs for 2, thanks to the small size and off-grid capabilities, the G15TB may be ideal for short boondocking escapades into nature.

The popular Noro chassis from hot-bolted high-grade steel, 6-sided aluminum frame with vacuum-laminated Azdel walls and roof offer the best of the latest technology. Weather-resistant (no wood), lightweight, thanks to good thermal insulation, the G15TB promises durability and comfort of living over extended seasons (heated holding tank is available as an option).
The interior finish radiates with warmness to which greatly contributes wooden cabinets doors lining the walls. Large, frameless windows allow for the penetration of sunlight. All that creates an interior that is much more than just a comfortable place to sleep. The G15TB is generously equipped compared to similar travel trailers. If needed, two large twin beds (74” x 30”) can be converted to a king-size sleeping place.

The overhead cabinets offer large storage space, but there is also a sizeable L-shaped exterior storage with two access doors – ideal for camping gear you may need when venturing into nature. The novelty (compared to Geo-Pro earlier models) is a spacious, 12V, compressor-based fridge with a separate freezer.
The front kitchen comes with a 3-burner cooktop with a flush-mounted lid, microwave oven, and deep stainless-steel sink with high-rise faucet as well as cabinet with drawers.

You can also count on a Blackstone griddle that can be set-up outside, next to the utility shelf on the trailer’s wall. Conveniently located LPG quick-connect makes the whole set-up process easy and effortless.
While designed for off-road adventures and life in a sort of “symbiosis” with nature, designers did not forget that some cannot give-up on entertainment. For that reason, the G15TB comes with a 12V TV w/DVD player, and AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth, USB port, and exterior speakers.
Standard 10ft power awning offers weather (scorching sun or rain) protection, so you can easily extend the living quarters out to nature. The large interior table can be easily removed and installed anywhere outdoors.

The trailer comes with a roof-mounted 190W solar panel, power controller, and inverter. However, all electrical devices (including fridge/freezer and TV) operate on 12Vdc, which improves energy efficiency (no need to convert 12V to 120Bac). All 110Vac power outlets throughout the trailer are fed by the inverter, so you can take on the trip small kitchen appliances, hook-up computer, phone chargers. Only the microwave and optional AC unit, need access to 110Vac from the grid.
The wet bath is small, offering a tight room for a shower and toilet. Surprisingly, you will find there large storage for towels, toiletries, etc, well-protected by upward opening, hermetic door. The trailer comes with a sizeable (31 gallons) fresh-water tank as well as 12 gallons grey and black water tank. To increase the water autonomy, the shower includes a Miser System. It redirects the water back to the fresh-water tank before it reaches the showerhead and releases the flow only once the water is hot. That itself, saves a substantial amount of fresh water from being wasted into the drain.

You will find a handy Central Control Panel operated by traditional switches but also remotely via a phone application. Safety features, on top of mandatory CO, LPG, and fire sensors w/alarm, as well as a spare tire also include tire pressure monitoring system and keyless systems on all locks (entrance door and exterior storage)!
